So excited!! The family is going to spend 5 days and 4 nights in Steamboat Springs in between Christmas and New Years. We will attempt to get Jackson onto skis, should be a blast. Will keep everyone posted!!

Logitech Harmony 620

My wife and I have tried numerous Universal remotes for our TV, Stereo, DVD player and Cable Box without much success. One day we were in Costco and had a coupon for $50 off the Logitech Harmony 620 which made it only 50 bucks. We decided to give it try and for the first time ever we are down to one remote from about five or six. Sweet huh? I had seen this type of remote at Target before and since it was in a locked cabinet I figured it must be pretty nice.

The best feature by far is the one button selection that turns the TV to the right input, the stereo to the correct setting and whatever else you have set up. It has a usb port to easily add devices through your computer. Finally a remote that Baby-boomers can use without an instruction manual.

Can’t wait to read the audio book!! Seriously, with kids at home and free time spent with the family, my reading time is way down. But fortunately there are audio books, just make sure they are not abridged. It is like watching the 40 year old virgin on TV with all the good parts cut out. Anyways, it is good to get into the car and start up the cd’s. I will let everyone know how the story of the Three Brothers goes.
